Thanks Jon, but we are totally filled up on our roster for 2013. Thanks for your interest, but remember, if you are from Ca., you couldn't play with us because the state MUST touch Co.

When you say the 2 larger fields, I don't know which ones you are refering to. I am talking about just the upper one at Pioneer Park. That is the only upper field there that is huge. Are you talking about a different park than me, although there are only 3 fields there. The two lower fields are softball size parks. You may be talking about the field over by the high school that they also have some teams play at.

I doubt it, never have put fences up yet, and they always for the most part put AA teams up there. I complained because for the last two years or more we have been up there. Please SSUSA, rotate it, so that Major and Major + are up there too. They do let us play on the artificial fields. I like the two lower fields at the old park, hope we get to play there this year.

Yes we are, Tom. We have been visitng via e-mail. Yeah, it will be fun, let's hope we get to play on the field against each other. I wish you were playing with us! We have 9 new players, so we need the Bullhead tourney to get used to one another before Mesquite.

Discussion: Mesquite Teams in March

I love the smaller area atmosphere of Mesquite. St. Georgle does offer a good variety of eating places, and the Canyons Complex are nice fields, but Mesquite fields are good as well.
Lastly, you can party more after the games in Mesquite!!

I got 3 days at the Palms hotel for $64 includes taxes and fees.
I went thru Hotels.com
The official tourney hotel is Harrah's, about the same rate, very nice hotel right on the river, although so is the Palms.
Hope this helps.

We have a very good foundation of 12 players, but are in need of 2-3 tournament travel players. We go to about 6 out of state tournaments a year, Mesquite, Las Vegas, Reno, Ks.City, Phoenix, Co., etc. Our tournament fees and uniforms are totally sponsored. If you are interested and your state touches Colorado, please give me a call at 303-437-5340, or e-mail me at d69zcam@comcast.net

Discussion: What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for my relationship with Christ who gives purpose and meaning out of every day. I am thankful for the health that God gives me to go out and play this wonderful game of softball.
I am thankful for my two wonderful daughters that are my best friends. They are always there for me in every situation.
I am thankful to my female friend that has been there for me many years and is still waiting for me. I am thankful for this great country and the freedom we have to express our diverse opinions and not be persecuted for it. I am thankful to the many wonderful brothers I have made in senior softball all across this great U.S.A. I am also thankful to SSUSA for putting on tournaments across this land and the dedicated staff that keep the organization the class act it is. I pray that each and everyone of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with blessings of just enjoying the fellowship of loved ones and friends as you break bread together.

Short11, go to touraments 2012. Go to Winter Worlds. Then you will see a tab for the different age groups. Click with mouse on men's 65. Give it a second and then major+, major will appear, and then scoll down and it will show the scores, and then the elemination brackets appear with the scores posted in them. There are 8 AAA teams and only 3 AA teams. I hope this helps.

SSUSA, an absolute excellent job on posting the scores quickly on the Winter Worlds. For teams that couldn't go, it makes it much more interesting to see how teams are doing that you play, and how they are faring against other teams across the country. Kudos to who ever is making this possible!! Thank you!

Discussion: WESTERN WORLDS 2013

If you are talking about the Western Nationals, they were held in Aurora, Co. in 2012. I just heard that they are going back to Sacremento in 2013 even though we had 89 teams our first go at it in 2012. There were nothing but positive comments about the tournament of 2012, but I have no idea why they are going back to Sac. I do, but I won't comment any further.

Discussion: Players need for 2013

We are a 65 AA team in Colorado. Our team is sponsored. Entry fees for tournaments plus 3 uniforms are provided for by our sponsor. We need two good outfielders and one infielder. We have lost players going to the 70 age group in 2013. If your are interested, and your state touches Colorado, contact d69zcam@comcast.net

Discussion: Need three players for team

Our team is need of 3 players that are capable of playing AA tournament ball in 2013. We would prefer two for the outfield, but not an absolute must. We are a good AA team and may be moved up to AAA level, depending on how we finish in Vegas. We lost 3 players because of age, who will be 70. They will be playing at the next age group. If you are an AAA player, it's ok because we can have 3 AAA players. We have won several tournaments in the last year and were close in several others. If your state touches Colorado, give me a call or e-mail me. Our entry fees to all tournaments are sponsored, plus uniforms(3) are as well. We go to about 5 out of state tournaments a year, plus the Western Nationals in Denver. 303-437-5340 d69zcam@comcast.net
