| Jan. 23, 2021 TOMAR77 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: VEGAS Their contributions was wanting, but funny how things resolve themselves. I thought it was initially a good move on SSUSA to partner with the Vegas organization, mainly in helping SSUSA to secure enough Fields, to put on The World Masters, "Thee Premier Senior Softball Tournament" in the Country. But now that I understand what their contribution was, clearly this partnerships demise was good for all. Please pass on our regards to Fran, ( Martha and I miss seeing her). So glad that you are still swinging Hard ! Tomar |
| Jan. 22, 2021 TOMAR77 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: VEGAS Personally I am pleased that SSUSA will be solely in charge of the "World Series". Our Teams experience with the shared responsibilities for the WS and Southwestern has been disappointing. I am sure that LVSSA is a fine organization, but in all honesty their lack of contribution was lacking in Field Preparations. On numerous occasions the Infields were in bad shape and the outfield grass was not mowed.I personally had to find their staff to Groom the fields. My understanding is that it was their responsibility to secure the Fields and maintained them. So moving on, I am confident that SSUSA will insure the Fields will be properly Groomed and mowed both for safety and fair play. Tomar |

| July 23, 2020 TOMAR77 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Southwest Championships - Date Change Thank You for the Post. Of course I am aware that the Dates are on the Event page. As you might know I have been planning my Teams schedules for 14 years and have had no problems with the Dates. But my feeble Brain is now tuned to HABITS. Thus on AutoHabit I incorrectly assumed the games were Weekdays, my bad. Just thought that a quick mention on the message board would be helpful. Tomar77 |
| July 23, 2020 TOMAR77 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: Southwest Championships - Date Change Thanks DoubleL10, I did NOT p/u on the Dates. Looked at the Tournament Site but I guess I assumed it would be same as our age group has been doing all these years, (playing Week Days)) ! SSUSA may want to put the change on the message board to help insure that us older folks get the Changes. Thanks Tomar77 |
