| June 2, 2026 BASEHITTER#2 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Just wondering on a ruling Bases loaded no outs 5th run on third. Batter hits a line drive for a hit. 5th run crosses the scoring line runner on 2nd advances to 3rd base. Runner on 1st goes 1/2 way to 2nd then turns around (never touches 2nd) batter touches 1st base. what would the call be? Is there a penalty for this play? |
| June 19, 2022 BASEHITTER#2 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: Fly ball catch Batter hits a deep fly ball at the right field fence. the right fielder leaps up and catches it, his momentum takes him over the 300 fence he hits the ground as he brings his glove up to show the field umpire the ball falls out of his glove umpire calls 4 base error. correct call? |
