| April 14, 2012 Bobby Buggs | Topic: Bats Discussion: Any feedback on Combat 2012 Mike Macenko Sen-GR2-E softball bat? I have hit all the Sr bats done by Anaconda and Combat since they came out. Although it looks a bit different, the blue one is the same design as the yellow and hits just as well. Problem comes when people compare a new out of the wrapper bat to a bat they have 6 months of swings on, they quickly forget what it was like in the beginning and give up on the new bat too soon. Only to find later in the season after they commit to the bat that its was great and just needed some time. Its funny how people react to changes in graphics. Fact is bat companies have been changing the color of bats for years without really changing much if anything below the paint. Yet people will emphatically state The X color one is WAY Better than the Y colored one when in fact the only difference is the color. Its a game, we have all been played by it for years and it continues each season. |
