Double and Chico, that totally makes sense.. but the gentlemen I am referring to, is a major player, not a major+ and yet he was allowed to play on another AAA team against my team. so that's where my confusion is at. Why was he not an "impact" player for them? but was for us. thanks for the feedback.. Helps to know I am not losing it at this age already

Tim, thank you again, but no this was not for the upcoming TOC. this was actually for the Worlds in Las Vegas last Sept. I did follow all the procedures and rules. but was denied. So I came here for some guidance in case I missed a step, and sounds like I did not. Grayhitter, thank you for your information, but the term "IMPACT PLAYER" was the term SSUSA used not me. and I do not belong or am I involved in any other association other that I run Local leagues, and I am aware and understand about whom I can or cannot add to my roster.. this gentleman is a Major, and we are AAA and he ( as far as I know) can be added to my roster. But I will go to the SSUSA home office again and speak with George and see what if I did anything wrong or attempt to set my roster. Thanks to you all..

Nancy, mck71, thank you both.. and yes Coaching and Managing is tough and demanding. But its why we love the game or have rocks in our heads.. anyway I did speak with the home office and this is why I posted this to see if anyone has experienced not being able to have a player because of the IMPACT rule or status. Seems like I am not alone in not knowing what exactly that means. But I will reach out to them again. I did discuss this with a director in Las Vegas in September, and too also did not understand the IMPACT player status. He made a few suggestions, and I can follow up on them. thank you both and Tim.

Thanks, Tim, good guess. But we are 55 AAA team and we do not have Major rated players on our team only AAA-rated players. The player who was going to come over is rated, Major. I followed all the rules and procedures to have him join us, and was initially told he could be a part of our team. 10 days later I was informed that he is an "impact" player and could not be on our roster. But he could play for another team in our same division and against us. My question(s) is simple, how is it possible that he cant play for me, but can for someone else in our same division? and if SSUSA has rules and procedures and they are followed, why is this issue coming up? I am looking for clarity as we are again attempting to have him join us again this year.. and I would like to know which direction or whom should I really speak with?

As I was trying to add to my roster last year, I was told by the main office I could not add a certain player, cause he is an "IMPACT" player. But yet he was allowed to play on another team against us? Can someone shed a light here?
