63 year old pitcher, catcher and 2nd baseman looking for a team in Minnesota, I played with the Minnesota Patriots this past season, however it seems that this team may be breaking up....I moved here from California, November of 2020, and had played with the Topgun association for 7 years prior to moving home...if any teams are looking to add a player please contact me at 619 251 5138 or Magsdad01@yahoo.com...

Discussion: TOC LAST WEEKEND

I was disappointed in the fact that on Thursday of the skills competition,I tried to get an XL jersey and was told they were all.sold out,but would have more the next day....the next day I got the same answer....how does a big tourney like this run out of jerseys....sime of us first timers, and mayne never ever again timers now have nothing but a participant medal to hold onto, and probably be stuck in a drawer somewhere....

Discussion: TOC Jerseys

How can the TOC in Florida run out of jerseys before the 2nd day of the tournament....I arrived to the Auburndale field on Thursday morning, went right to the Jersey/TShirt stand and the only sizes they had left were L,2XL and 3XL,last years version and sweatshirts,no XL available....was told to be back at the field the next day and they would have more....well was not the case.....went out there today,Sunday, talked to the Tournament directors there, and was told all of the inventory was gone....fod some of us this might be our 1st and last time participating in the TOC....so sad that the supply was so limited....

Discussion: Neck Surgery

Fenway, I had the cervical discectomy with fusion a year ago....C34,45 and 56....was in a neck brace for 6 weeks, fully recovered in 10 months, back to playing ball in 11....I too had 2 steroid shots and to no avail, first one lasted about a week and a half and the second for a week....I am retired military here in San Diego so I had the procedure done at the Medical center...forget the steroid shots, get the surgery, I am damn glad I did....

Discussion: Lights Out 55AA

Can someone please tell me why Lights Out 55AA has not been rerated to 55AAA...they are allowed to play in 55AAA brackets, take the 5 runs that the AAA or higher level team must give the AA team...this team is allowed this advantage and thusly is winning games because of this....Im sure that any of the AAA teams that will read this and that have played Lights Out will agree that they are not a AA team and should be rerated as such to AAA...the AAA teams that play Lights Out 55AA are forced to change the way they play their game as the offense becomes lesser for the AAA team to the benefit of this AA team...giving 5 runs and limited to 2 homeruns is really an advantage to Lights Out....the AAA teams should not be penalized when playing this team,as Lights Out is certainly getting over on the rating system...

The Topgun association is starting a 55 AAA team....this is a new team, so as such, all positions need to be filled....I am looking to carry 15 to 20 players on the roster, ensuring that at all times we will have enough players to field a competitive team for the tournaments we enter, I am all about comradery, sportsmanship and winning, but most of all, having fun playing this game of softball ....if you are interested, you may contact me, Randy Hagan, at Magsdad01@yahoo.com or my cell at 619-248-0456....Thanks ahead of time for your interest in joining the Topgun association...

I am 55, would like to join a team that plays out of the southern California area, I am located in San Diego area....I can pitch, catcher of course, and 2nd base...I will play where ever needed however these are just preferred positions....I have played one tourney with 50 Thunder and just recently with 50 Got the Runs....I am a singles hitter with better than average speed for a 55 year old....just want to play ball....if you happen to know Doug Skaggs, Rich Pratt, to name a couple, they can verify my playing ability...Thanks to all who might give me some consideration and give me a shot
