| Dec. 8, 2014 tscs000 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Best turf shoes out there Totally agree with titanhd. I've been wearing the heel that pain inserts with Salomon Speedcross shoes for two seasons and no longer have any heel or foot pain. The key is to wear them at all times, playing or not. The Salomon's also come with a 2 year warranty which is very nice, if needed. |
| Oct. 10, 2014 tscs000 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: SSUSA Membership Why would I pay $35 for 2015 membership since the 2014 season is over. The renew online options need to be updated so that you can purchase a 1 year 2015 membership. |
| Oct. 9, 2014 tscs000 | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: SSUSA Membership How do we purchase another 1 season membership for 2015? Currently the only 1 year option is for 2014. |
| Sept. 4, 2014 tscs000 | Topic: Bats Discussion: senior softball bat You are going to want to stay away from all senior bats. The new Dudley Lightning may give you more swings before it explodes. Your best bet would be to get a UTRIP/NSA bat to swing. |
| Aug. 25, 2014 tscs000 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: 4 base error andrequired runner advancement Thank you for the clarification. Something didn't seem right about the ruling that was employed. |
| Aug. 25, 2014 tscs000 | Topic: Rules of the game Discussion: 4 base error andrequired runner advancement Bases loaded and ball is hit to the fence and hits glove of outfielder and then goes over the fence and is declared a 4 base error. What's the rule for the base runners? Must all base runners run the bases or run to the next base? Umps said all runners must run out all bases. Two of the runners advanced 1 base and then entered the dugout. Those 2 runners were declared out. |

| April 16, 2014 tscs000 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: cor and compression Depends on the ball manufacturer and model of ball you are using. We've been using the Worth hot dot in ASA local league for the last 3 seasons. They travel with no problem and stay hard in the heat, not like the Worth gold dots we used previously. The hot dots do knuckle more than the gold dot ever did. I've had no problem hitting the hot dot. If you're playing in any heat what so ever, my choice would be the hot dot vs the gold dot. |
