Feb. 3, 2014 . | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: DeMarini Swing Chute Trainer I noticed the picture on the esports web shows the DeMo Chute in the original colors of Yellow and White. If I remember correctly the Yellow/White chutes were first chutes sold by the DeMarini company. I think that Chute was sold with a instructional video on a (You youngsters may not remember this) VHS video tape. The whole package sold for about $75. I got mine as a gift so I'm not real sure of the price. The Blue and White chute replaced the Yellow/White chute a few years later. |

You can buy them at most any sporting goods store for less than $10 Just slide it on your thumb and not have any problems with umpires or rules. |

Don't know of any bat manufacturer that makes bat warmers. Does anybody know just what is the ideal operating temperature range (low being 60 degrees and a high of ? degrees)of a bat? Is it 60-130 degrees? Is there such a thing as getting the bat too hot, temperature wise? |

Feb. 23, 2013 . | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Bats Ray DeMarini, in his second video, I think was titled "Ultimate Bat Speed" used a Bat Speed Meter. And if I recall correctly he was getting a bat speed of about 75 mph on the meter. It was the same video in which both Ray and Larry Carter were hitting home runs. I still have the video, but don't have a VHS player that works. |
