April 3, 2005 huggydabear | Topic: Bats Discussion: Ultra II Beyond 2005 the ASA bat specs are the only way to go for safety and to keep softball the game it was. Get off your egos guys and vote down these hot bats! I can hit a ball just as hard as I ever did and I sure don't want to hit a pitcher and kill him. You guys that want to hit those hot bats know one thing, it makes it a whole lot easier to hit that 12" ball through that 20 ' hole and your stats go up. As we get older we are suppose to get wiser not more egotistical. I don't get, what are some of you guys thinking? I Played for thirty something years and I sure ain't better than I used to be. Of course maybe I can practice with this equipment and change that. I wouldn't want to! So now I'll get off your board and get ready for church and maybe even say a prayer for you now instead of after you've been hit in the head with a 12" bullet off of some hot bat. Get a grip Boys! Now let the crap talking begin! |
April 1, 2005 huggydabear | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Prayers for Mark Purvis I spent about an hour or so with Mark and JoAnna and he's getting along fine. They will keep him untill Monday to run some test and to monitor his vitals. He was talking ninety miles a minute and Mark knows what a lucky man he is to be alive. If Mark had not gone to the hospital when he did, he wouldn't be here today. He did look sexy in that little gown though. Ricky |
April 1, 2005 huggydabear | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Prayers for Mark Purvis Hey Guys, Ricky Huggins here,I was suppose to hit with Mark Thursday afternoon and didn't hear from him. I tried to call him at home last night and this morning and couldn't reach him. Just happen to be going tomy little league site and stopped in this site, I'm glad I did. I will be heading to the hospital in about twenty minutes and will give an update when I return. I have been knowing Mark for many years and he is one of the most humble and caring people that I have ever met. I know all you folks are praying for Mark as we are and I'm sure the good Lord is listening. I will be in touch. Ricky Huggins |
