The Brandon Senior Softball Association was organized in May, 2003 By two gentlemen, Joe Paleveda, and Bud Nolan who approached Hillsborough County Representives. The meeting was attended by approximately 20 Softball Players who wanted to show their support for the idea. They requested a location and access to fields where both Men, and Women could play non-competitive softball.

 Ideally a central location was chosen at J.C. Handly sports complex in Brandon. The league began play with approximately 25 players and has since grown to almost 100 players. The league now has 8 teams.

 Players must be in their 60th year to start playing in the league, however there is no age limit as to how old a player is. If you want to play! You play!

Games are played on Tuesday and Thursdays at 9AM
