The St. Petersburg Half Century Softball Club is a modified (no wind mill) fast pitch softball League having competed for 80 straight years comprised of players in their 50th year of age through their 74th year. 

A formal 60 game, 4 to 6 team, season starts annually the last week in October and concludes the first week  April of the following year. An informal, off-season regular competition meets on the same days and time from mid-April through  the second week of October.
 
A yearly-elected eight member Board organizes and administrates the softball operation under the auspices of a Constitution, a set of By-Laws, and a set of Rules. Single wall bats and ASA rules are utilized. Dues are assessed to cover overhead of umpire, field maintenance and uniforms.
