Participating Teams: Eastern Nationals 2015

The Walnut Creek Softball Complex in Raleigh, N.C., will serve as the host site for the 15th annual Eastern Nationals in 2015. Last year, 61 teams battled for top honors at the site that was honored as Complex of the Year in 2009. Here is what players had to say:

“There are lots of things to do and see in Raleigh. We have Duke University and North Carolina State University, the largest college in the state. I look forward to the Eastern Nationals every year.”
– Bucky Stanley, Mid Atlantic Softball(VA), Men’s 50

“The Eastern Nationals is a well-run tournament. We always put Raleigh on our schedule.”
– Henry Flint Jr., TSC(SC), Men’s 50 Major Plus

“Raleigh is a great area to play. The fields are very good and the SSUSA staff goes beyond the call of duty. Raleigh is a nice area with a lot of hotels and restaurants. The people are friendly and very welcoming.”
– Mike Rose, Team USA(MD), Men’s 50 Major

“It’s great having the Eastern Nationals right in our backyard! The old downtown area in Raleigh is fun to go to and has some great restaurants. You can even catch a Durham Bull’s game while you’re in town.”
– Michael Koch, Triangle Masters(NC), Men’s 55 Major

“It’s really fun to go to Raleigh. The city is a nice area and has a lot of good restaurants like Bahama Breeze, Jersey Mike’s or AJ’s Sports Bar, which are close to the Courtyard Marriott where we love to stay. You also can earn a top seed in the World Championships in Las Vegas!”
– Michael Sabatino, Chicago Hitmen(IL), Men’s 65 AAA
