Final Standings:

The Battle in the Valley, hosted by AZ Launchers, is an invitational senior softball tournament ... a 'REC' tourney ...  that was held on Sat., Apr. 30th & Sun., May 1st at Paloma Park in Peoria, AZ

Participants in 2022 were only teams from the Phoenix "Valley"; plans are in place to invite non-Pheonix Valley teams in 2023.

Format: four (4) seeding games, followed by a 'Seeded', 'Bracketed', & Single. Then Elimination Championship tournament

Tourney Amenities:

- FULL service concession stand; on-site; operational times ... 7:30 am - 2:15 pm

- Exhibit: "Foothills Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy"; w/26 clinics in the "Valley" 

- Bat Raffle: sponsored by DeMarini

- Operational scoreboards, & FIELD moderators on every field; providing instant, & accurate updates

- Large POSTERs providing 'up-to-date' schedules, & gm. result scores

RunnerUp: AZ Scorpions

3rd Place: AZ Launchers ("Peoria, AZ) 

* The Sidewinders defeated the Scorpions  15 - 9  to capture the championship
