Note: Senior Softball-USA charges a 4% convenience fee for all payments other than cash or check.

Important reminder: The US Postal Service is experiencing delays in their deliveries, so please let us know if you intend to play in this tournament. Team lists for tournament are published on the tournament pages at the entry deadline. If your team is not listed, please call immediately. Teams are not officially entered until payment is received.

Refund policy: Entry Fees are non-refundable after the deadline. Full refunds are given to teams withdrawing BEFORE the deadline. NO refunds are given after the deadline.

Tournament Format

Note: SSWC reserves the right to combine divisions of three or fewer teams within one age level and/or skill level.

This is a "Ring Award" Tournament.

Five games minimum scheduled, with Round Robin into Double Elimination or Three-Game-Guarantee brackets

Hitting/Fielding Clinic (Auburndale in Winter Haven):
Sharpen your hitting and fielding skills with some of
the best athletes in the sports.

5:00 pm
East vs. West All Star Game (at Auburndale Complex):
Best Players of the East vs Best Players of the West.

Thursday, January 8, 2009
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
TOC Skills Contest (Auburndale): This competition is
free and designed to celebrate individual softball skills.
Prizes include a Miken bat for first place in the Precision
and Power Hitting contests, a glove for the best pitcher
and Tanel shoes for the fastest runner.

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Mini-Tournament: Sign your team up for a warm-up tournament;
Play a couple of short 3-inning (1/2 hour) practice games at
the Auburndale Sports Complex.

5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
TOC Managers Registration (Chain 'O Lakes Community Center):
Managers pick up final schedules, gift baskets, shirts for
their players and other important TOC information.

5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Free CPR and Defibrillator Training (Chain O' Lakes Community
Center): Managers and players are urged to attend a free
CPR/AED Clinic by National Safety Director Jim Sherman.
This clinic and training has resulted in the saving of
three lives over the past two years.

7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
TOC Managers Meeting (Chain 'O Lakes Community Center):
Review of TOC Rules, Awards and Schedules.

Manager Meeting

The evening before play begins at 7:00 PM at the Chain 'o Lakes Community Center at 210 Cypress Gardens Blvd. SW. Team registration (Managers only) from 5:00-7:00 PM before the Manager's Meeting. For Men's 40-Masters and all Women's teams, SSUSA will contact you with information regarding your Manager Meeting.

NOTE: Managers who do not attend will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters (such as schedule changes, tourney formats and rules issues) discussed at the meeting.
