Time for my annual post about the Don Brooks / Crabtown Classic-

If your team is planning to get into the tournament, here are some things you should know-

1) This tournament grows every year with teams coming from multiple states. This year is no different. EMAIL me to get in so that I know you're coming.

2) Do not wait until the deadline because you'll likely be shut out.

3) We will use 2 parks again this year- all teams in all skill levels should expect to play games at Bachman (Glen Burnie) and/or Carroll County (Westminster).

4) Hotels should be booked in the Owings Mills area which is 20 minutes from both parks. Booking at "x" hotel, expecting to play at "y" location is a gamble.

5) Late / Early start requests will not be honored. If you are getting in your team should be ready to play at 8am, 8pm and sometime in between. The same applies to championship games.... We'll have teams from 12 states entered and most will have a significant drive home. Plan accordingly.

6) Go back to Item 1 above... The manager must EMAIL me if planning to enter a team. Don't just drop a check in the mail or send an electronic payment. I need to get an email from your manager.
