Coaches and Managers,

We are now in our 2008 season! WOW does time fly…we are now all one year older and wiser!

Cyndi, and myself would like to share with you some exciting news. We now have a new and improved web site! This site was built just for the senior women in mind! All you have to do is go to the seniorsoftball.com site (SS-USA site), click on the button on the Left hand side of the homepage called “Women”, and it will direct you to the women’s portion of the site.

We have included everything the players have asked for. You’ve heard us say more then once “We are your Voice”. Well, we listened, and now you will be able to get any information you might need.

Most of this is self-explanatory. But let me explain a few:

1. The only buttons that might confuse you are the “Players looking for teams” and “Teams looking for players.” It states at the top of each of these pages to click on a button to contact us. If you click on this button it will take you to an area where you can email us to post your message. If you do this, I will, once I receive the email, immediately post your message on the site. This method is to prevent any “spam” from going to our site.

2. Team of the Quarter – Each quarter we will nominate a new team to be featured. If you’d like your team to be featured please send either us an email with a team photo. We will vote of a team each quarter.

3. Tournament Team Participation – As soon as we get entries into a tournament we will update this area. This will enable your team to see who is coming to a particular tournament. This will only work properly IF all teams get their entries in early – before the deadline date!



4. Another button marked “Tournaments for 2008” will be added as soon as all the organizations, to include SSWC, finalize their dates. The reason for the delay in the calendar is due to contracts that are still being negotiated in the cities for these tournaments. You can’t have a tournament without fields and dealing with the cities to get the fields can take time. Please be patient! As soon as I get dates I will put them on this page. Be looking for this in early January 2008.



Our last exciting news is that Betti Garnett will be added to our staff. Betti will now be the Eastern National Women’s Director. Welcome Betti!
