SSUSA COVID-19 Update

March 1, 2020

Senior Softball-USA (SSUSA) will be updating teams and players as the current COVID-19 pandemic continues and we hope you all stay safe and healthy.

SSUSA’s home office, which closed on March 17, will remain closed until the end of April due to California’s shelter-in-place order.

SSUSA has actively worked to re-schedule TOC tournaments that were canceled in March and April.

The tournament reschedule dates are as follow:
Texas State Championships in Grapevine, Texas - Aug. 4-9.
Spring World Championships in St. George, Utah - Aug. 11-16.
Spring National Championships in Polk County, Florida - Aug. 14-16.
LVSSA/SSUSA Southwest Championships in Las Vegas - Aug. 25-30.

The Crabtown Classic (May 29 - 31) in Glen Burnie, Maryland will take the place of the Atlantic Coast Championships this year as a TOC Qualifier.

Unfortunately, the only dates available for the Tidewater Classic were too close to the World Masters Championships. The tournament is offcially cancelled for 2020, but we look forward to returning to Virginia Beach in 2021.

Also, the DFW Classic in Grapevine, Texas has been moved up to June 4-7. The Heart of Texas (June 18-21) qualfiier in Georgetown has been cancelled.

Once again, SSUSA hopes to resume its 2020 season in mid-May with the following qualifiers:
Top Gun Reno Tune-Up - May 14-17
Oil City Classic - May 14-17
Bobby Chapp Memorial - May 16-17
Battle of the Roses - May 16-17
High Desert Duel - May 16-17

The Rock 'n Reno Challenge Cup (May 22-31) is slated to be the first TOC qualifier of the 2020 calendar year.

As a reminder, to give teams more time, the entry deadlines dates for Reno have been adjusted:
May 11: Men’s 50-55
May 12: Men’s 65-85
May 15: Men’s 40, 60, and All Women’s Divisions
