Michael Kamad Honored By Softball League

Michael Kamad, 89, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, who will turn 90 in February, was recently honored by his league, Calgary Senior Men’s Softball 55+, with the Bob Sanderson Trophy.

The award is presented each year to the Division A player who "best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance and sportsmanship in his continuous efforts to improve." 

This past season, Kamad helped lead his team, Dodgers, to a Gold medal finish in the A Division.

Along with playing softball, Kamad also stays active by playing hockey.
