Five Teams Complete Triple Grand Slam in 2019

SSUSA Triple Grand Slam Trophy

SACRAMENTO - Five Senior Softball-USA (SSUSA) teams completed the exclusive Triple Grand Slam during the 2019 season.

Congratulations to Sommerville Softball (CA) - Men’s 55 Major Plus; Timberworks/Adidas (CA) - Men’s 65 Major Plus; Nor Cal Stixx (CA) - Men’s 70 Major; Center For Sight (FL) - Men’s 85 Major; and Old School (CA) - Women’s 50 Major.

There were some usual suspects who completed the Triple Grand Slam, as Timberworks/Adidas accomplished the feat, while Sommerville Softball and Old School each went back-to-back.

Center For Sight returns as Triple Grand Slam championships, last accomplishing the act in 2014.

For Nor Cal Stixx, this marks the team’s first ever Triple Grand Slam.

To complete the Triple Grand Slam, teams must win the Eastern/Western National Championship, the U.S. National Championship Game (played during seeding in the World Masters Championships), and the LVSSA/SSUSA World Masters Championship.
