VEGAS WORLDS 2012
I'M NOT AN EXPERT ON THE VEGAS FIELDS, BUT THE LAST TIME WE PLAYED AT THE CHEYENNE COMPLEX IT WAS THE WORST FIELD I HAVE EVER PLAYED ON IN MY LIFE. PLUS YOU BETTER WATCH OUT IN THAT NIEGHBORHOOD. WILL THE VEGAS PLAYERS PLEASE TELL US MORE ABOUT THIS COMPLEX??

Guys the CHEYENNE COMPLEX has been reconstructed with 4 very nice fields and ample parking....The nieghborhood is still the same but fenced off from you outsiders coming in starting trouble...lol

Do you think they will completely reconstruct the neighborhood before the tournament? With the $700 entry fee, they could afford it!

Crusader I have been to Cheyenne park many times. Is it the best in Vegas NO. But if it is the worst you have ever played on, then I know you have not traveled a lot to play ball. Any one in the 50s-70s have surely played on fields with no fences and fields that have grass growing up in the infields. Well Cheyenne is not that way. Actually the fields are not bad at all. The neighbor is not a good one, but never been threatened or shot at while I was there.

400, I used to, but retired now. Really just a jab at the OUTRAGEOUS entry fee in these down economic times.

As they say, What ever the traffic will bear. Only one close that that cost was the Worlds in Phx last Oct. at 660. Ouch.
The TOC is reasonable at 450. All other TOC birth were in the 500 prices ranges but 1, I believe & it was below 500.
Now I know why my team isn't going. But talked about it. I hadn't looked at cost before this.

Damn Ron you are getting "grumpy" in your old age! The team I'm on will also be playing at the Cheyenne complex and you will find it much improved since the last time you were there. Maybe I'll get lucky and be able to see you hit a "tater" or two. Take Care and say hi to that lovely wife of yours.
