| Jan. 10, 2009 ##7 Men's 55 15 posts | TOC update 50 major and AAA 50 major- fredericks beats Al Estes 2-0 in best two out of three. Al Estes finishes 1-4 afte going 1-2 against AAA teams. 50 AAA -- Gubiotti's faces Rochester 50's at 8 am in losers bracket. Teams are from the same league in Rochester , NY, ,the hotbed of senior softball. (Bagby's also in loser's) |
| Jan. 10, 2009 2awesom Men's 50 308 posts | As the player/coach of the Frederick Chev/E&E Metal Fab 50+ Major Team, I just want to say thanks to all of the gang on the Frederick Team! I 've been playing slow pitch softball for more years than i care to count, and this is by far the most fun I've ever had playing ball! We have such a good group of guys, basically all from the same area in south central Penna. The sponsors that we have are wonderful also! We look forward to the rest of 2009, and even though we have now reached the top level of Senior Ball we are ready for the challenge. Winning the TOC was Special. Thanks to Senior Softball for putting on such a fine Tournament. Thanks to Dave Dowell, I have much respect for him. Also, Thanks to the Al Estes Team for playign hard and being a "Class Act" Good luck to all in 2009 |
