Why is it a secret that they can't release times for games until week of tournament it seems like. It would help people get hotel rooms figured out.

It was just referring to tournaments in general why they wait so close to date.

OK, so it's a general theory question ... I write (almost all) SSUSA major tournament schedules in the chronological order of event start dates ... I usually start as soon as ALL teams are paid so that I know who is in and that they will be staying in, at the risk of losing their entry fee for bailing out late ... I'm reasonably skilled at the process, have never missed an event start date in nearly 25 years of doing this and have absolutely no incentive for delaying publication ... Most times, this issue comes down to the difference between when somebody WANTS specific information as opposed to when they actually might NEED it ... Patience is generally rewarded ...
