Hi, i see we have 64 teams playing this year and you added a 2nd field location for Land of Enchantment. Any idea when you will have field assignments finalized? inquiring minds want to know ;-)
For the inquiring minds contingent, we did NOT add a second field location for the Land of Enchantment in Albuquerque ... These are the SAME TWO locations we used last year ... In 2025, the Men's 60-AAA and 60-AA played at the Tingley Field complex, and this year it will be the Men's 50-AAA and 55-AAA ... Everyone else, both Men and Women, will play at the Los Altos Softball Complex ... The two facilities are less than 10 miles apart, with an estimated drive time of 15± minutes ... Good luck!
Yes, Tingley was in use last year (we played there). by "add" i mean several weeks ago the tournament page listed Los Altos as the sole playing location. its all good.
Thanks for getting the schedules published for ABQ. I know they are "draft" so just providing some feedback in case you aren't aware yet. Specifically the 60s schedule

Page 1 - at the bottom I think the 2nd block is meant to represent the 60M and AA team's 2nd day of pool play. But it says "Friday" rather than "Saturday". Also the game times appear to be copy & paste from Friday afternoon while the master grid shows these games on F1 back to back starting at 8 AM Saturday morning.
Page 4 - typo at the top, says 50+ AAA instead of 60+ AAA
Looking forward to the tournament.
there still seems to be an "issue" w/ the men's 60+ seeding bracket -- the Arizona Monsoon appears to have four (4) seeding games, 2 on friday & 2 on saturday morning . . . is that supposed to happen???
eights88n ... Nope, there's no "issue" in the Men's 60-Platinum seeding ... In any 3-game seeding structure involving an "odd" number of teams, it's a mathematical certainty that one team must play four games so that every other team gets three ... The 60-Platinum division structure format reads:
Teams #1-3 play Double Elimination bracket for 60-Platinum Championship • INTERNAL SEEDING
The term "INTERNAL SEEDING" means that the three teams are seeded based on the 60-Platinum games only, and there are three of those games: 1v2, 2v3 and 3v1 ... In the case of Arizona Monsoon, BOTH of their Saturday games count and neither on Friday count for them (but DO count for their 60-AAA opponents) ...
The team that drew the extra game was randomly determined by the scheduling system software, after excluding the Major+ team, and the "extra" game is completely by design ... Good luck! ...
thanks for your quick response, DaveDowell
@Dave - is there a WHOIFOLLOW link for LoE?
GMC ... I'm having difficulty getting the page to generate the correct QR Code, but the "long-hand" URL should do it ...

Good luck! ...
While Whoifollow is a great app, it’s not any good if no one updates it! Not really real time scoring.
Agreed, Dbax. There are still tournaments that haven’t been updated with Sunday results. Whoifollow is a great tool for SSUSA and players, I hope we see improvemnts as time goes on.
How come the scores are not posted for the 65-80's?
Every score is posted and every bracket is up to date through Wednesday games in the new Who-I-Follow scoring system ... The link about four or so above will take you there ...

I want to thank Albuquerque for repairing the fields. It was nice to be playing on grass.
Agreed — the fields were in much better condition this time. The staff did an excellent job keeping games on schedule, even with the rain delay on Friday. Truly a GREAT, WELL?ORGANIZED TOURNEY!
I want to commend the field maintenance staff for the Tingley fields. They did a great job! Fields were watered, drug and lined between games. At one point they were completely done manicuring the fields and decided the fields needed to be smoothed a little more and started all over!! I can't say enough good things about that crew, GREAT JOB!!! They also emptied trash cans and made sure the grounds were clean!
