Sad news, need prayers.
1 of the players on our 65 Dudley Lightning team had a blood brain stroke the day before we were to play in the Dallas tournament. The FaceBook link where his family is updating his condition is here.....https://www.facebook.com/john.j.edwards.759828

This from his daughter Haley...
On Monday, April 27th, our lives changed in an instant. My dad suffered a severe stroke while traveling to Dallas, Texas for something he loved—playing softball. He is currently in Dallas on life support, and we are facing so many unknowns as we wait and take things moment by moment.
During this incredibly difficult time, our family is coming together and traveling to be by his side, while also supporting my mom emotionally and physically through this unimaginable situation. We are doing everything we can to be present, to love him well, and to care for each other.
We are humbly asking for support to help cover travel expenses, potential funeral costs, and to provide long-term support for my mom as we navigate what lies ahead. Any contribution, no matter the size, means more to us than we can express. If you’re unable to give, your prayers, love, and sharing this page are deeply appreciated.
Thank you for standing with our family during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. We are so incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and kindness.

Hey all, struggling to put this into words -
At 1:25pm, Dad peacefully took his last breath and has moved on from this life. He is now reunited with loved ones and will continue to watch over all of us with love.
The funeral is set for May 16th in Gilbert Arizona - more details to come on the Tennessee Memorial.
My condolences to John's family. I did not know John, personally. To my former Dudley teammates, my sympathies. This sport is rewarding in so many ways with the most important part being the players and families we get to know over the years. Remember the good times and John's fine play on the ball field. All the best to you and your families. Tom
Prayers for John Edwards and the Edwards Family.I did'nt know John but,He was part of OUR Faternity and one of "US". Those who die still live in the Lord's presence. May John Rest in Peace....
