Just so it's clear, when you say no there is no equalizer here. They play straight up. Already had a buddy who saw this say "See even Dave agrees when we played that AA team we should have gotten our 3 HRs because it's even up.

JohnO28 ... CORRECT ... A semantics game may be in play here ... The teams play "straight up" means there is no equalizer given/received ... That term does NOT apply to the home run rule in play here: The HR limit is that of the LOWER rated team in the game ...

We have a frequent similar "equalizer misconception” when a younger team plays a team that is age 65+ or more senior ... The younger teams often assert that the oldsters playing 11 defensive players is an equalizer over the youngsters playing 10 ... That’s NOT an equalizer because all teams are entitled by rule to play with their native defensive alignment number ... Have fun!
