Discussion: Atta boys

Many Atta Boys to SSUSA and others on the new scoring system!!!
Agreed! I enjoy checking the scores out as a turny unfolds whether I am playing in it or not.
How do you find the SSUSA tournament? Very user unfriendly.
When I go to Game Time tab , then all events, I see two tournaments, but then when I try to click on them it tell me to upgrade to discover events. So do you have to have a subscription to see the scores?
Duh, I was on whoifollow.com. That sight sucks. Should be .net
Apparently, you have to pay $99 per year in fees to use the service.
To use the app. Maybe the website is free?
Bones505 and LC7 ... BOTH platforms, on the App or the WIF website, are at NO COST to users seeking to follow scoring and brackets for SSUSA events ... The subscription arrangement is ONLY for individuals and their teams who may wish to participate in the other features offered by "Who I Follow", but they are in no case required ...
The real-time update system is excellent. I have friends playing in the Winter Nationals and I'm able to follow every pool play and bracket result. My friends are telling me it's been very helpful to them in terms of knowing when and where they play next. An all-around major success.

If you can require every tournament under the SSUSA umbrella to use this system you will indeed be the premiere senior softball association, head and shoulders above all others. Great job so far!
Congrats and looking forward to using it this weekend! You may have just eliminated almost all the complaints lol
https://www.whoifollow.net/ I am getting live updates with refresh. Dave Melosi is making adjustments on the fly. kinks getting worked out. He is at Papago playing for KC Kids 65. Seek him out with feedback.
Thank you everyone for helping to work through making it easier to see the scores. We will be putting business cards out today with a bar code that will take you directly to the event scores. Our main goal is to make the scores easy to see. I will be at Papago this morning, Matt will be at each of the different fields. We welcome your input and will make the app and website as user friendly as possible.

I did want to clarify, the free features will always include viewing scores and also unlimited teams to set up chat Sign up now and you will see how this evolves as we are adding team scouting as well as many more senior softball features. The 60 and 65 team I play on use the team message feature year round to communicate. It works especially well at tournaments as we post batting practice locations, where to meet for dinner, etc. You will find that who i follow is a one stop place for your team.

Thank you again for your patience and help. I welcome ideas. We have a link on the app to give feedback. Or email me at dave@whoifollow.com or Matt at matt@whoifollow.com.

Thank you,
Dave
what the expectation going forward, will this be used for all SSUSA tournaments or just some? can you share the plan?
I believe that the system will be used for all events hosted by & scheduled by the SSUSA office.

I run contract qualifiers and scheduling them myself. Once I've mastered the learning curve, I plan to use the system for Potomac Sports hosted events. Tim
Check the Tournment Page. The Phoenix Tourney results are using "who I follow"
Greatjob on the new App. It worked out great this past weekend for the Winter Championship in Phoenix. My teammates and coaches loved it!
Can the new app include bracket "IF" games. Its missing on the 60 Major bracket and they have the wrong team listed as winning. Is this an App flaw or or just an input flaw?
LM26 ... The 60-Major "If" game doesn't show up, but the Iowa Demons defeated Regee's Rams (13-12) ... The last game that shows is the Championship game #1 ... That's part of a growing list of "bug fixes" we will be addressing ... Thanks for mentioning it ...

This release is a bit of a "beta test" version, and the technical side of Who I Follow did a great job in my view of implementing in a very short time my custom Scheduling System developed over the past 20± years ... First priority was speed and accuracy of individual game scoring (they nailed it) and secondary was bracket advancement ... They did that reasonably well, too, but programming "conditional If-needed games" isn't as easy as it looks! ...
It was very nice to be able to see the results of my team as well as my friend's team. It took a minute to get familiar but once that happened, it was cake.
