If I am looking at the bracket for 50AAA there will be 10 teams out Friday. 5 from American and 5 from the national. Is this normal, or because of the field availability?

TD.Tom ... It's normal for a bracket that size and not unusual for that many teams playing on two 4-field complexes ... It's all about taking only 12 teams into Sunday, meaning the other 46 teams are leaving by the end of the day on Saturday ... That's not an unreasonably high number if up to 10 go away on Friday ... I could have taken a few more into Saturday by playing 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM games on Saturday and not playing 6:30 and/or 5:00 PM games on Friday ... That's not an acceptable "solution" in my view of optimal scheduling ... As always, the shortest path to a Championship is through the Northern hemisphere of the bracket ... Good luck!
