The ISA world in Columbus used Quick Scores this year and it does enhance the game for all of us who have friends and care about what's happening in the tournament. Not sure what the resistance is for SSUSA to use it, it really does make it better and easier. Plus, everyone will stop complaining about it :)

Apparently quickscores cannot figure out the five game guarantee format.

I've seen that mentioned about the 5GG for years. I can only imagine how difficult it can be. It seems it would be best to not enter the pool play games into the systems that can't handle it. Just use these services for bracket play only. Each field director would simply update the bracket when pool play is finished. As the tournament goes on the field director could update the scores in real-time.

How about using AI? I am sure with the use of AI tools someone would be willing to be contracted to make a reusable tool to use for any 4 or 5 GG tournament with 2 or 3 pool play game formats with up to 100 teams per bracket. I understand there are sometimes teams with special requests and the idea of trying to not make teams play against teams they have played against recently. AI can do that since it could have the prior year and current year initially loaded into its database to look at. After the pool play games are spit out someone can review and manually switch teams around with special requests like those asking to have an early or late game or to match up teams for the National Game.

A contracted hire or free lancer can be found at sites like Fiverr, Upwork, Guru and Freelancer. Somebody reading this may even have someone in mind that enjoys tinkering with AI that would enjoy donating their time and skill for free. :)

Just some thoughts that cross my mind and I've discussed with others.
