SSUSA - the discount program with SWA is a nice perk. Any chance you can renegotiate and get a coupon code for 1 free checked bag?
Hi GMC, interested in how you receive/use a discount from SWA. I don't see them on the partner list on the website. Thanks!
Hey CW - on the individual tournament pages you'll see info. Here is what it shows on up coming Worlds:

it saves a few $$.
GMCinCOS,
Apply for a Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards VISA credit card. If you book your flights with that card you will get 1 free bag at check-in. I applied for one when Southwest changed their policy regarding baggage fees, and received 65,000 miles after spending $1000 within a couple of months after receiving card. I believe the card is $69 per year, not bad.

@gott2play - that's my backup plan. I was hoping to maintain a-list status in 2026 but didn't get enough flights this year. The good news is, you just have to have a SWA visa to get the 1 free bag, you don't actually have to use it to book the trip. Customer support mentioned it takes 14 days to recognize you as a card holder so anyone getting one need to do so in advance of their flight.
$69 is the lowest fee, i think they have a couple options for more $$. But if you check a bag twice you are saving $$ with the card rather than paying bag fees.
