Discussion: Length of time a Major Plus player stays Major Plus

On our Major team, we have 2 players that were on a Major team that won Worlds last year at a lower age bracket, which moved everyone on the team to Major Plus. The 2 players have played on our team all year in 2025. How long do they keep the Major Plus status? Is it 1 year, 2 years, or something else? Thanks for your reply.
This is only my opinion on how I believe you can get rerated. A player must play at least two years on a Major Team, then submit a request to be rerated after the two years. Please note, this does not automatically mean they will be rerated. SSUSA has many variables to determine the ranking of a Team/Player.

I am sure David Dowell can better explain what steps need to be taken.
