Discussion: Approved Bats

When will the updated approved bats list e available or where can I find all the approved bats
From the MENU bar above: BAT POLICY - APPROVED BATS
Most recent version is 10/30/2024
Does this mean an older bat that is BPF 1.20 and has a USSSA or other assoc. logo no longer approved? I have an old Easton Rebel metal bat that is almost brand new with USSSA 1.20BPF, ASA, NSA 2012 and ISA approvals on it that I'd like to use.

I'm new and confused. I see two conflicting statements about allowed bats.
Under discussions, I see "Older ASA bats with the 1.20 bpf on them are okay." but under Bat Policy, a newer statement says that all bats must have the SSUSA approval seal. Which is correct?
Thanks, Dave
like it says: "Bats must be marked with the new SSUSA/NTS logo. Older bats must be marked SSUSA approved (or have SSUSA logo), with 1.21 BPF or less."
Hopefully this is clear. If the bat doesn't have an SSUSA stamp on it, it generally not legal to use in play. For those who are new to playing SSUSA, this can be a bit surprising. Two days ago there was a player ejected from a qualifier game for stepping into the box and hitting with a USSSA stamped bat with no SSUSA stamp on it. Yes, he was very angry. Yes, he argued that the Utrip bats should be allowed because they are not as hot as senior bats. Yes, this delayed the game over 20 minutes for the dispute, which went to a director. And yes, the umpire's call was confirmed: the player was ejected. The player decided to leave the complex for the entire day. That was his choice. He was only ejected for one game. If for some reason you have a question about any bat, feel free to ask an umpire, umpire in chief, or director at any field. They will be happy to advise. Just look for the SSUSA stamp on it. And please buy your bats from reputable companies. There are companies out there who specialize in altering bats.
I understand that a bat must have the new SSUSA NTS Tested or the older two SSUSA stamps to be used in a senior tournament. But I have a different question on this topic. Recently I purchased a 2026 DeMarini Vanilla Gorilla softball bat. It has the USSSA 1.20 bpf NTS TESTED, the NSA2012, the Senior Softball USA NTS Tested, and the ISA stamps on it.

Is this considered a Senior Softball bat? Can it be used in a USSSA or ASA/USA league?

Any help is appreciated.
Is the original Worth Launch 510 WSRSB bat legal? It is marked SENIOR SOFTBALL APPROVED - BPF 1.20
Hi Mary - Yes, the Vanilla Gorilla with the SSUSA stamp on it should be eligible for SSUSA play. Since it also has the USSSA and NSA stamps on it, it should be good for those sanctions as well. There isn't a USA/ASA stamp on it, so not sure about that sanction.
The Vanilla Gorilla has SSUSA/NTS tested stamped on it, which makes it eligible.
