So this was posted in the Winter Edition of the 2024 Newletter:

There were two 10-year
suspensions from bats found
to be shaved through the
random bat tests at the World
Championships.
There are three more
cases -- pending appeals – involving bats that have
apparently been rolled from
the Worlds.

The wording seems to state that the 3 potentially "rolled" bats have been confirmed and are awaiting the chance to appeal of they haven't already but appears the "Shaved" bats suspensions have already been issued but no mention of an appeal on those. Will the 2 shaved and 3 rolled names be released so everyone will know who they are and make sure not to be associated with them? I would think this should be public knowledge for everyone to know.

How can you tell if a bat has been rolled.

I have heard people claim for years that they can tell if a bat has been rolled but have talked to bat manufacturers who claim that is something that is told to customers to avoid replacing bats. I have no solid proof either way, just going off the quote from SSUSA claiming 3 people were suspected of rolling bats.

I would like to know what evidence they had on the 3 players that were suspected of bat rolling. From what Ive heard bat rolling breaks in a bat a lot faster then having to hit a couple of hundred softballs. If a rolled bat is illegal then so is a bat after a couple hundred batted softballs.

Why would you want to know names? They are already suspended and won't be able to compete with or against you? I'm sure you'll know who they are if they come within a 100 miles of you (rumor mill). We're gonna "safety" our way out of the game we all love.

Why would you not want to know who they are? There is more than just SSUSA to play in, I for one certainly wouldn't want to play on a team with a known cheater.

10 year suspension is enough, I think. No need to embarrass them, which is what I think your motivation is. Are you going to check all the rosters for every tournament you're playing in? Just my opinion, done with this.
