Why USSSA balls and Senior balls were both used ?

Whats the big deal with the balls just as long both
teams are using the same ball for the whole game.
1 ball same ball SSUSA shouldn't be mixing!
JohnO28 already correctly answered this one Rob • "This was a charity tournament not run by SSUSA themselves. They have said in the past that the official ball of SSUSA is the Baden Fire but independent directors are allowed to use different brands of balls."
