You don't need the detail brackets and seeding schedules to book your hotel choice ... The field assignments were posted Monday in the pink "Priority" area at the top of the Message Board ... The answer to your question is: Probably a few more days, with Session #1 before Session #2 ... It got complicated fitting everything into the available venues because this year's event broke the previous Tournament record by 18 teams ... Good luck!

Classics 15, or anyone else that is wondering where to stay-

We are using 5 parks/ 16 diamonds in Loudoun County and all of them are 15 minutes (or less) from the hotels on the Route 28 corridor. I've stayed at all of the hotels listed on the tournament page and would give a thumbs up to each. They all have food, drink & grocery options within a mile or so.

Some of us might have to work while we are playing Tim so knowing which field is always helpful and I appreciated Dave getting those assignments posted so I could book the closest hotel to my venue! ;-)

Hope to see you in a few weeks buddy, been too long!

You can swing away and not worry about over the fence homeruns on 360' fences.

No, those big fields ae horrible. Thats where the major plus teams should play. We played 2 games on them about 2 years ago and no team hit any homeruns. I'm a pretty big guy and I don't use shaved bats and was slugging balls. I touch the fence twice but, in that heat, balls were not carrying that well. Good luck on those big fields.

The TENTATIVE Field Assignments are available in the Message Board post titled: SSUSA's EASTERN NATIONAL'S 2024 • "TENTATIVE" Field Assignments ... They were published here a week ago (07/08/2024) ...

The 133 teams playing in 2024 breaks the former tournament record by 18 teams ... Loudoun County makes their entire 16-field inventory available for our use in this event and it's going to be very full ... Exactly half of those facilities (Brambleton, Hansen and Tillett) have center field fence distances that exceed the 325' mark, Bolen and Potomack Lakes don't ... We move divisions around from year to year, and in Session #2, the only 'repeater" is the Men's 40-Major division at Brambleton ... Good luck everyone! ...
