Discussion: Shin Guard Recommendations
I am going to do some pitching this year. 60 Major and for some Local Open Leagues. I would love some advise on Shin (and knee) guards that others use. Priorities for me are shins, two partially replaced knees and ease of getting the on and off. Brand and where to buy would be helpful.
While I am at it, opinions on helmet under mask or are they too bulky?

I pitch a lot. I use mountain bike shinguards. Lots of choices.
Soccer shin guards are the most Logical and less bulky. Search at Amazon

Because of their size, soccer shin guards don't cover as much of the leg starting above the foot. One high bounce to the knee can do some damage.
I have been using the Demon mountain bike knee/shin guards. Strong shield, very light weight and quick/easy off and on. Very satisfied. Highly recommend.
