The rain has stopped ... THE FRIDAY SCHEDULE HAS BEEN PUSHED BACK FROM 8:30 AM TO 12:00 NOON ... All Friday seeding games will play under the Rulebook §10 (ADVERSE WEATHER) procedure of five-inning games, start the 4th inning by 45 minutes, 5th inning open and played on a one hour schedule progression ... The sun is out currently and the skies are partly cloudy ... THE FRIDAY SCHEDULE IS STILL PROJECTED FOR A 'HOPEFUL' START AT 12:00 NOON ... The City of St. George has deployed a lot of workers and their progress is obvious ... Check here from time to time for updates ... Thank you for your patience ... |
| March 24, 2023 SSUSA Staff 3485 posts | SESSION #3 • FIELDS UPDATE • (11:25 AM MDT) The grounds crews from the City of St. George are nearing a "ready to play" decision ... The sun remains out and the skies are partly cloudy ... THE FRIDAY SCHEDULE IS NOW PROJECTED TO START AT 12:30 PM ... The City of St. George has deployed a lot of workers and their progress is obvious ... The games will play hourly from the time they start, presumably 12:30 PM, thru last games of the day at 5:30 PM ... There have also been field assignment changes in order to use the best five fields and also allow for minimal walk distances between games ... The changes are as follows: • Games originally on Field #1 move to Field #4 • Games originally on Field #2 move to Field #1 • Games Originally on Field #3 remain there • Games originally on Field #4 move to Field #6 • Games originally on Field #5 move to Field #7 Thank you for your continuing patience ... |
