The new 4 game guarantee means pay more for less, not a good deal.

Norm, costs have skyrocketed for everything. Eggs are 8 bucks a dozen now, gas is high, hotel rooms have skyrocketed, dining out has gotten way more expensive, and ALL RELATED expenses have increased because of this inflation. SSUSA MUST BE FIGHTING THE SAME THING. I think it will come down to either a 4 game guarantee or higher entry fees. It's not their fault.

In NorCal they run 3 Game Pool Play into Single Elim so teams get 4 games minimum and charge less and give out better prize packages. So to say the fee should be over $500+ is ridiculous. Cut down on staff needed at certain events, some times I see a number of staff their just sitting around only takes one to update scores and answer questions, depending on field totals and team counts

SKings, those are actually USSSA senior tournaments and are done in 1 day ( you would know this since your one of the directors). Those are run well and all scores are posted. Nor Cal ( NCSSA ) are 5 game , 6 team brackets played in the Round Robin format. Those also have all scores posted.
