I've made the S1 TENTATIVE assignments and am awaiting field availability confirmations from a couple of venues on exactly what local league conflicts are present and when they start ... The "soft" deadline was end-of-business Thursday and the "hard" deadline is 4:00 PM Pacific time Monday in case there are any last minute stragglers ... With four other SSUSA events (Northern, 10,000 Lakes, Rocky Mountain and Top Gun Summer Classic) going on right now, it wouldn't be a surprise for us to get a few more entries by managers who are on the road this weekend ... The S1 teams count has passed the previous tournament record for that session ... Late Monday/early Tuesday is a likely publication target time ... |

That's actually a little test to see if ball players can figure it out when there are four teams standing around one field and there are no teams at the field right next to it ... Most times, they can't! |
