April 14 Webbie25 Men's 70 2417 posts | I have known Steve Imlay for over 10 years and consider him a good friend. Yesterday, for the second time, I attended a school with 6 other Seniors on hitting. I am always amazed at what he knows about hitting. I watched 6 guys improve their exit speed considerably. He picked out a problem with my swing also and helped me. Watching the guys see the improvement was fun. Players, I actually got a blister through a batting glove because we swung so many times. This is about a 6 hour clinic and is the real deal. This school is definitely worth it to anyone that wants to improve. Mark Weber Scorpions 65 Major Plus |
April 14 Cliff D 3 posts | Having attended this school with Webbie, I totally agree with his review of the hitting clinic, and his opinion of Steve Imlay. The man has a wealth of knowledge and he brings his experience as an educator and a first class ball player to his clinic. Great learning experience no matter what age group and level of play. April 16 Webbie25 Men's 70 2417 posts | After retiring for 5 months, I forgot how to hold the bat, so Steve was able to help me with that. I guess I will never really retire.....love it too much. |
April 16 Nancy Allen Men's 55 1440 posts | Webbie, Steve is a great hitter, but he is a great man as well. We are all very proud of our "boy" from Columbus and can tell you that he is a great friend also. I could tell you of his many kind deeds, but those of us who know him all could make lists. I am glad that you had a great experience at his clinic. Just know that he is so much more. Thank you, Steve. |
April 16 Montanapnc 10 posts | Is Steve's basic philosophy to throw the hands through like a frisbee keeping the bat flatter through the hitting area? I see his swing and videos...I know Steve and my bat has his name on it... |
