Playing on 2nd team
Quick question.....If I am on a 55 major team that is not attending one of the sanctioned tournaments, would I be able to play with a 55 AAA team during that tournament?

Thanks.

Assuming you have already played for Team "A" this season, you would be able to play for Team "B" only after getting a release from Team "A" ... You will not be able to return to Team "A" for the balance of the current Season ... You get just one release per Season ...

Last year if your team was not going u could play on another team one time during the year. Of course same age group and rating. Does this not apply this year.? Thanks

That limits a player a bit. Say they commit to a team that does not play that often and they want to play more? If it is a different division level or age then why not.

Sorry SSUSA, the answer is go play the other associations-they don't have the same roster restrictions and you can play with other teams much easier.

Hello Dave. I thought the 'COVID rule' allowed a player to play one tournament with another team without having to drop from the original roster? Was that rule just temporary and not ratified like the other 'Covid rule' which allows for non-retirement rich states to pick up two non-border state players?

christom10 ... Lots of variable and dynamic COVID influenced "rules" floating around in the past 12-18 months ... Please call the Sacramento Home Office during business hours (Pacific time zone) at (916) 326.5303 ... Ask for anyone in the "eligibility department" and they can walk you through your specific situation ... Good luck!
