| Nov. 25, 2021 GI Men's 60 228 posts | Just wanted to pass on my thankfulness at being able to still play a kids game. I just watched the recording of 25 years since Field of Dreams and I think we all can relate to the message of that movie. What a wonderful joy it continues for me to be on the field with so many of you for the past almost 30 years or more. I am blessed to be a small part of the game of softball and again so thankful for the joy I have when I walk on the field and see so many teammates and guys who I have played against some even when we were so young and the bodies worked much better, HA.Thank You Senior softball for giving me this chance to stay on the field. I have decided in May to retire from 45 years of Working with AZ youth. I turn 69 in March and look forward to turning work over to our young Counselors to deal with the next generation at School.God has so blessed me and I want each of you to know that this game that keeps us playing now makes me aware that a big part of the joy of the game comes from seeing you guys who have made such a positive impact on my life.
