Junk! Bought 2 26’s 8 swings in the so called end load broke into pieces.
Nasty rattle sound, stay away from anything new from Dudley, they’ve
lost their touch when it comes to Sr. sticks. Heard their USSSA are better.
I’m done with Dudley.

Packy - not sure how you may be weighing your bat to check the end load and handle weight, but if you add a knob cuff typically the handle weight increases by .4 - .5 ounce. Did you put either a new grip or tape on the handle?

Make sure you have the end of barrel in center of scale and end of knob in center of scale when weighing them respectively, also the end not on the scale needs to be on the same level as the scale, use a block of wood of equal height, don’t use a towel or soft fabric to equal the height. You won’t get an accurate scale readout.

It is a total shame what Dudley has become. They switched factories in China where they make their bats and not since the 2.0 have they put out a quality product. They prefer to save money vs making a great bat which they used to make. Since the lift's their bats are complete garbage. If they made their original bats or second generation they would own the market again however their stubbornness prevents that from happening. They are a shell of what they once were

Dudley hesnt been the same since the original 1 pc models
Black yellow, red knob etc... they lost their engineer to Adidas and now Suncoast. All I've heard about the Doom is they break very fast

I have a 26.5 Dudley Nifong with more than 1500 swings. Very durable and plenty of pop. However, it swings a little heavy for me compared to my 1 pc Suncoast(26.5) and Adidas (26) which are my gamers.

Agreed. The original Dudley Lightening with the RED know is one of the best senior bats ever made. Once they changed that design the bats don't seem to have the "pop". Still using my original Lightenings and have a new one hanging in the garage waiting for the originals to crack.

The story as I understand is the engineer who designed the original Dudley's and now is with Suncoast has a patent on the technology. Where he goes is where the technology will go into making those great performing bats. His agreement and licensing of the technology allows the bat company to make the great bats so when he left Dudley he took away their ability to keep making their OG bats. However that may supposedly be ending in another year or so.
