| Jan. 25, 2021 TD. Tom 74 posts | New mercy rule for 2021 I was wondering about the new 22 and 15 run rule after 4th or 5th inning. So let's say the visitors are behind going into the top of the 5th by 21 runs. Can the visitors only get 5 runs since it is only the 5th? And now there is no open inning for teams this far behind correct? |
| Jan. 25, 2021 JBTexas Men's 70 434 posts | TD, better question how can you be down by 21 going into the 5th when you can only score 5 runs per inning, the visitor if being given runs(lower rated team) could be up by 20 plus not home team??? I could be wrong but I don't think so. Take Major plus out of this discussion whole different area with them getting 7 runs per inning??? |
