Pure - Fast Eddy
anyone have experience with the Pure Fast Eddy? Heard it was super hot right out of the wrapper and it is a good cold weather bat. Any of this true?

Thanks

Each time there is a new bat they are hot right out of the wrapper!

I disagree. When you plunk down $300 for a "new hot bat" and doesn't even have the power of your old game bat, then when friends ask you how the new bat is working, you say "takes a while to break in."

"Each time there is a new bat they are hot right out of the wrapper!" And in some cases, will give you an extra 20 feet than last years model. Some of the 45M+ guys must be hitting 500' nowadays.

Some discussion going on about whether the Fast Eddie is just and Integrity repaint. I am hearing a lot of mixed reviews, some say hot really quick, some say takes a 100+ swings. IMO, I am not buying one until they have proven longevity. I doubt they outperform any of the other SR bats by that much if at all.

I heard the same about it being just repainted Integrity as well. Anyone out there that has actually hit the bat with input?

Thanks!

I have one. A bit stiff, but it is a hot bat for sure.

Thanks Double Dee. I am not a fan of one piece bats, they usually are too stiff me me, but was thinking of trying one of these as I heard it was a good cold weather bat.

Wood, I'm hitting one up here in OR. Still cold and wet so using room temp ASA balls when I go out. It needs more breaking in before I'd use it in a game. Being a 27.5, its a little too heavy for me anyway. Harder balls would make a difference....will have to wait for a warmer day before I chance that. Rol-
