Myers • Session #1 Look Back ... • WINTER NATIONAL'S THANKS • We want to take a moment and thank everyone who made Session #1 happen in such a highly competitive and efficient manner ... The list is long, but has to start at the top, with all of the teams and players who had the confidence to stay in the mix and to trust us on our adverse weather event procedures ... The tournament doesn't happen without you, the players, and we deeply appreciate that ... Not everyone bought into the plan and there were some defections, but those who stayed in reminded us of the Farmers Insurance ads: "WE KNOW A THING OR TWO BECAUSE WE'VE SEEN A THING OR TWO®" over the years ... It all worked out ... Thanks for your patience and cooperation ... We also can't say enough about the Lee County support from Jeff and Allison and "the gang" inside, and Ludie and her facility crews outside at the CenturyLink Sports Complex ... We're totally impressed by the magic you worked to play this event despite the very impressive (to a manatee!) rain totals ... And well done from afar to our "boots on the ground" Directors Cal, Joe, Gayle and Hank ... Good luck everyone for Session #2! ... It may be a bit boring compared to the last three days! ... Thank you ... |
