TEAMS MOVING UP
Other than the teams that won the WORLDS how will other teams be moved up or will this year be seen as a wash. Just asking because of Phoenix coming up

sdc ... There will be teams other than the Champions being moved up in rating level before the Winter Nationals/Worlds events ... The data analysis of all 2020 Season tournaments is a continuing effort, but nearing completion ... Personally, I'm lobbying the National Ratings Committee to take a more efficient (and probably accurate) approach by just moving UP every team that played on Sunday in the World Masters ... We wouldn't miss very many that way! ... Unfortunately, the Committee hasn't yet indicated they like my approach, but I'll keep trying! ...

You guys don't use the coin flip anymore to determine if a team moves up?

Dave, I have to ask........Has there ever been a team that played so badly at world's that you moved them down 2 levels??? Asking for a friend... Thanks for all the hard work that you put it to bring World's off. I don't think some here appreciate what it took to get it done. Thanks to the entire SSUSA staff.

pizzaboy ... During the pandemic, lots of businesses are going "cash-less" so nobody has to physically handle it ... We're no different ... And we moved our office a couple of years ago and haven't seen the Ouija Board since then, either ... Looks like we're back to using the dart board this year!

Webbie ... Frequently down one level, but I can't remember a two-level smack-down ... Tell your friend! ... Ha!

Dave while I love your idea of moving everyone up that played on Sunday, you better be careful because there are a lot of sensitive people on this message board. You may hurt a feeling or two.
Just looking out for ya.

Benji4 ... Can you imagine the effect if we announced that for the upcoming 50+ World's in your area? ... All those teams in brand new ghillie-suit camo uniforms trying to stay hidden from the National Rating Committee! ... What a hoot! ...

Look at all of the teams SSUSA moved up during this Covid season. Teams would grab guys from eliminated teams in tournaments to finish out the tournament....yet they still found a way to bump up teams without an opportunity to play and appeal.

Let's see. A major team wins its bracket in all but one tournament they entered. At St. George they similarly do well, beating all teams but one in bracket play and later rounds, and by an average of 7 runs. They meet the sole undefeated team in the finals and win—leading to the if game which they lose by one run. Of course the winner gets moved up to Major Plus. Will the other team complain if they also get moved up?

Casey ... "Lighten up, Francis" ... After the second sentence of the second post in this thread, it's been a bit of a light hearted fun/joke fest ... No reason for you to revive your crazy theory of late event roster adds ... You guys played your way to your SSUSA rating, but all is good because now you've apparently entered the "other association" event at the lower rating ... You'll likely do a lot better than OK "playing down" ... Good luck and play safe!

No idea what you mean by "revive"...you must have me confused with someone else because I never said a word about the crazy theory; however, if you dont believe that this hasnt happened this season, then you havent been around.

That's pretty funny, Jim ... Maybe you'd have figured it out eventually that I'm one of the guys in the SSUSA office who's read all of your rants about things we do that bother you ... But, then again, maybe not! ...
