| Sept. 9, 2020 B.J. 1106 posts | Happened to us.. follow up Dave, a couple things.... there are differences in answers given all the time on umpire questions and many times a 2nd scenario is asked after the original question is asked ... it would be much easier for SSUSA to cite the rule from the book and explain if needed how they came up with that answer... I tried to follow up and answer Omar's question and I even cited ASA's rule showing the difference and a possible gray area in SSUSA's rule... it would be nice to know if SSUSA thinks there rule is adequate, instead of just ignoring it... BTW i do agree that sometimes the posts do get insulting and I have not done it in quite a while... maybe you should go back and read some of your recent posts when players/mgrs. ask questions about schedules, balls, locations, etc |
