Aug. 16, 2020 sdc 34 posts | WESTERNS Well finally got to play a tournament in St George. Where we played the Umpires did a great job with the covid guidelines. They made sure we all followed the rules. Mask rules changed first couple of days but nothing major. One thing I saw that will always be a problem is social distancing. Yes it was HOT!!!. Everyone was seeking shade. We saw 25 to 30 players and spectators sharing shade elbow to elbow with and with out masks. Wives were sitting next to entrance of the dugout to get shade. Not complaining just saying social distancing will always be one of those things that will be hard to control at any event then add the heat makes it harder just an observation |

The pre tournament temperature guess award goes to Jon44. His weather site used nailed it. September temperature history in St. G is showing low to mid 90's. |
