| July 8 TimMcElroy 983 posts | Eastern Nationals are NOT CANCELED It seems that the rumor mill is in full motion today. Some of the host hotels received calls stating that the Eastern Nationals have been canceled. Simply stated, that is FALSE. I suspect this was an effort on the part of a few individuals to justify room cancellations. Those actions have ripple effects, as SSUSA has already been contacted by our partners at Loudoun County Sports on the matter. Northern Virginia entered Phase III of the recovery plan last week and the tournament numbers look great. Nearing the 100 team mark, SSUSA has no plans to cancel or even modify the Eastern National Championships. We're looking forward to seeing you in Loudoun County. |
