Life too short
Sad day for CenTex softball. Doak Thomas passed peacefully this morning. Been a longtime friend and teammate. We started playing senior ball at age 50. Been together along time. Was Tanel a time ago, now under CenTex. May remember Doak and His music. Always there with his jam box.

Sorry to hear about Doak. I knew he was battling cancer. Enjoyed playing 1+ years with him with the San Antonio Silver Streaks. He will be missed. Condolences to his family.

What a terribly difficult and sad week with the loss of three Senior Softball legends ... Jerry Jackson, Glenn Thompson and Doak Thomas ... All were deeply respected and will be sorely missed ... Sure hope the "bad things come in three's" saying is correct ... That's enough of this for a while ...
